The Artist: Currently not painting but a graduate from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD), the artist, Colin Bowers, is lead guitarist in the band called The Holiday Crowd.

The Story: Purchased at Neubacher Gallery in Toronto in 2001 by an advertising executive, Summer Breeze is reflective of a billboard ad while supplying the viewer commentary on our society's excesses. The artist purposefully left off the ending of the word summer maybe to bring attention to the changing whims and the idle pleasures of the rich.
