The Artist: Susy Danelon was born in Mexico City and attended the “Universidad Anahuac del Sur” to study Graphic Design. She has made her home in Toronto, Canada since 1988, developing her artistic passion for over a decade and has maintained a studio practice for the last eleven years. She has studied since 1992 with various artists and instructors. During this time, Susy has used various techniques that include acrylic, collage, mixed media, watercolor, oil and transfers. Currently she is a member of the Art Gala Forum Group.

She has had solo art exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions and her work was selected for the John Sommer Juried Show. Susy was selected for an exhibition in Ottawa commemorating the 100th year anniversary of Mexican Independence. In 2013, Susy was awarded the Honorable Mention Award at the Humber Valley Art Club Annual Juried Show. She has done commission paintings in the past three years and her works appeared on many TV Series.

The Story: Susy Danelon's passion for colour helps her reflect her childhood memories. She notes the changing landscapes due to fluctuations with light.
