The Artist: Anthony Sowden was a Toronto-area artist whose work was exhibited at many juried shows. This print was purchased at auction where other works by the artist were also available and that were signed. So we're certain this piece was painted by Anthony Sowden.

Wonderful price for an original screen print.

The Story: An artist who experimented with various painting and print-making methods. This was a piece that the owner held onto for a long time and although unframed, kept the print safe and protected. Lovely use of blue and yellow calling out Matisse.
